Rendez-vous Place Stanislas

Every evening during the summer, an imposing creation transforms the façades in the famous Place Stanislas. A wonderful way to connect with the history of the capital city of Lorraine!

"Even as a child, I was afraid of the dark... So all my life I have never stopped seeking the light..."

Inaugurated in 2007, "Rendez-vous Place Stanislas" has become an unmissable event, particularly popular in the Grand Est region. A video-projection designed by Spectaculaires – Allumeurs d’Images, this open-air event is free of charge and attracted more than 600,000 visitors during the summer of 2016!

Over the course of 20 minutes every evening, King Stanislas invites you to join him in contemplating lights of all kinds: the first dawn of humanity, the luminous pallor of the Moon and the rebirth of each daily sunrise. The event evokes visions of the Age of Enlightenment and the flamboyance of Nancy-based artists, and dazzles with the lights of 5 continents and the genius of those who created one of the most beautiful squares in the world. Dreams of freedom, in every language, for a multicoloured world.

Make a date for the next Rendez-Vous in 2017 !
